Sky availability whilst on holiday

Hi,

I think I know the answer to this but I will ask the question anyway. I currently have a Sky Q box. Is there anyway I can watch sky whilst on holiday in the uk by streaming etc?

Hi @Crickt+Fan

With the Sky Go App you can stream some Sky content from the Internet

Sorry, but worded my question poorly. Is there any way to watch sky on a tv whilst on holiday? You cannot broadcast sky go onto a big screen by chrome cast etc I believe?

Watching Sky TV on a tv whilst on holiday

Repeat of my earlier question but with better clarity. I currently have a Sky Q box. Is there anyway I can watch sky on an actual large TV whilst on holiday in the uk by streaming etc? As I understand the situation, Sky doesn't allow Sky Go to be broadcast by Chromecast etc but is there another way?

hi @Crickt+Fan

I think one way is to use a laptop that has an HDMI Out (still using the SKY Go app)

@Crickt+Fan   I have merged your most recent post to your existing thread, not sure why you raised another one when you have an active thread already.

I watch Sky Go on my 49" UHD TV via an Xbox Series X 🙂 Other games consoles can be used 🙂

If you haven't got a gaming console then another way to do this is via a laptop using an hdmi lead connected up to your tv from it,
