I know this is a subject which has been discussed frequently before, and Sky have announced they have launched a fixed version of Sky Go that works on Mac OS.
I have a 2017 MacBook Air running MAC OS Monterey, which I purchased recently. Yesterday I reinstalled the OS to ensure it was clean, and Sky Go installed and launched. This caught me by surprise as I had had issues before with my 2015 iMac running Mac OS Monterey, but I also installed Sky Go on that yesterday and it launched without issues.
Today, I installed a new SSD in the MacBook Air (a genuine one) and reinstalled Mac OS Monterey. However, when I install Sky Go, it runs the download, then the install, then it it flashes twice as launching then goes completely dead.
I have tried all the advised de-installs and clearing out Library folders but it just keeps doing the same.

For anyone who has the same problem - I found the fix by looking around.
It seems CSR Utilities were not in the correct state: try checking out the current status by opening terminal and typing "csrutil status" without quotes.
If it says anything different from "System Integrity Protection status: enabled.", use my procedure above or google (acknowledge Ludowing for this step). To renable I followed these directions: https://www.kolide.com/features/checks/mac-system-integrity-protection. I cleared the BSKYB entry in ~Library/Application Support and the BSKYB contents in ~Library/Cache and uninstalled the app in ~Users/YourUser/Applications Then I did the CSR Utils reset and rebooted and it installed ok
