Sky Go problem on my laptop.

Can anyone help me please?

I've just updated my Sky Go app on my laptop & when I open it, it just says "checking for updates" & then opens to the blue screen with the big white arrow on....that's it...nothing.  I can't get anything to happen after that - I try clicking on everything there is on-screen and nothing at all happens!

I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it a number of times, even restarting my computer...but nothing!

I've had Sky Go working on my computer before, so the laptop is OK to play it.

Please someone give me some advice on how to get this app working?

Did you do a complete removal as I'm not sure a usual removal will also clear these hidden files and folders:

Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:

Sky
Sky Go

And if it is present (it might not be) the Cisco and/or Synamedia folder in App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.

Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again via here:

Re: Sky Go problem on my laptop.

I've done everything you've said, word for word - followed the lot......nothing!

Exactly the same thing happens!

Any other suggestions?
