Sky Go on Microsoft Surface Pro 11

Sky Go doesn't appear to work on Microsoft's new Surface Pro 11 (ARM CPU). It shuts down without reporting an error after the initial checking for updates message. After applying the compatibility troubleshooter it gets as far as the login prompt, but crashes (no error mesages) before I have ime to enter my login credentials.

Anyone have any wrds of wisdom?

Found this solution posted by @A10 in December 2023!

Here is the solution that worked on my Surface Pro 9 running the ARM processor

1. Right click on the Sky Go App

2. Select Properties

3. Click on the compatibility tab

4.  Click on Change emulation settings

5. Choose Safe Emulation and press OK

btw this even still worked for me on the Surface Pro 12 in 2025 with a similar issue
