Sky Go Apple TV New Customer

Hi,

I have just signed up for Sky Q and waiting for my installation date.  I added multiscreen to my order and I can see it is on the account on My Sky.  However when I try to sign in to Sky Go on Apple TV it tells me I need a Sky Q Muntiscreen or Sky Glass Whole Home subscription to access Sky Go on your Apple TV.

Is this because the equipment has not yet been installed?

Also My Sky App on iPhone seems to be stuck wanting my postcode.  I put it in and press continue but nothing happens.  Also does the same on sky.com however I can bypass it by clicking on My Sky on the top right hand side.

While Sky Go on iOS/Android/Windows/OSX typically works between placing the order and getting the installation, the different subscription requirement for Go on Apple TV seems to make it an exception.

Usually when awaiting installation you can access all available content on Sky Go so are you a new customer to Sky or someone who has returned after being away for 12 months or more ?

Perhaps try a reboot of your iPhone if you haven't already ?

Re: Sky Go Apple TV New Customer

Yes I called them and they said the same.  Something gets updated once the Sky Q box has been installed and the card has been activated.  This then activates multiscreen on the account and it should work on Apple TV.

Worth noting if you go for Sky Stream and get Whole Home it works immedietly.
