I have installed sky go for windows from the sky website. I launch the app which then states checking for updates, a minute later it crashes. I have tried running it in compatibility mode as well as as an administrator, but each time the same issue occurs.
Environment: Windows 11, Microsoft Surface Pro 2025 12 inch model
Device name Sheldon_Surface
Processor Snapdragon X Plus (8-core) @ 3.30 GHz (3.24 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.6 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, ARM-based processor
Anyone else experienced this?

Right click the desktop app -> properties -> compatability -> change emulation settings -> select 'safe emulation' -> apply, click ok and reload
worked on the surface pro 12 with this exact crashing issue
