@MarkGoldsmith  It's been a long time coming this version 🙂

Note it is NOT compatible with Sky Q

I've marked @MarkGoldsmith  post as the Answer as that is the most up to date post regarding the New Sky Go app for Glass/Stream

Re: Sky Go App for Glass/Stream now available

Worth mentioning that this new Sky Go app is not available for Mac or Windows or tvOS on Apple TV boxes.

It's only available for Apple iOS and Android mobiles and tablets.

Hi @Angel_Aka

Do you know if Sky plan to bring the new Sky Go App to the other platforms?

Thanks in Advance

Not a clue.

I've been using the beta of the new app on iOS for a few weeks but there's been no Testflight version of it for tvOS on Apple TV.

They may have chosen not to do a tvOS version, particularly if they're offering full HD streams now, because it'll make the Apple TV box a potentially much more attractive proposition than a Stream puck.

Hi @GD1

Not even as a Super User? Or can you not say, as these things are udually only discussed in the Super User Closed Forum?

I used to be part of the Closed Forum pre 2020. I was removed due to lack of participation, which is fair enough. I wasnt in a good place mentally sround that time.

Thanks

Re: Sky Go App for Glass/Stream now available

I have been emailing the beta team and they have confirmed to me that Apple TV and Sky Q customers will both be supported at a later date......

Hi @andre95

This is good to hear, especially for Apple TV.

Do you have to know how i go about registering to become a Beta Tester?

Thanks in Advance

Re: Sky Go App for Glass/Stream now available

Apparently it's not ready yet for Apple TV so no TestFlight link.

I will be surprised if Sky Q customers will ever be able to use the new Sky go app so until an Apple TV app is ready, I won't be upgrading to Sky Stream.

Sky go and Apple TV would be a perfect combination.

Re: Sky Go App for Glass/Stream now available

Just downloaded it and I have a question.

Shouldn't I be able to access my 'cloud recorded' shows on Sky Go now?

There's a show I recorded on my Sky Stream called 'Urban Secrets' when I access my playlist on my puck I can see all 8 episodes have been recorded in the last week and are available to watch.

However, when I view my 'watchlist' on Sky Go, I can see the show is in there, but no episodes are available to play. Does anyone know why?

@mancsmark  Do you have more than one profile for watchlists?

Click on recents the  settings. choose watchlist

Re: Sky Go App for Glass/Stream now available

Hi

Apologies if this comes across as a stupid question. In the new Sky Go App, what's the difference between selecting to Record a programme or adding it to a Watch List?

Thanks in Advance
