Sky Go App error code 0-01

My Sky Go app on my Android (v11) tablet is not allowing me to watch any of the Sky Sports channels, I get an error 'there has been a problem connecting to the SKy Go network. Error Code: 0-01'

I can watch other channels (e.g. Eurosport) without any problem. I can also watch Skysports channels on the Sky Go app on my mobile phone and desktop PC so the problem seems to be confined to the Android tablet only. Can anyhelp help interpret the really helpful error code?

Confirmed Sky have resolved the issue whilst I was reporting it to them in the hidden forum 🙂

Try clearing the cache and power cycling your device

I have, as I say all other channels seem to work just not Sky Sports.

I am having the same issue on my android phone. Sky sports is not working with that error code.

There was an issue last month which was fixed.

 

So what you are trying to view and on what device and does your package allow you to view this ?

Was watching Sky Sports in the afternoon but this error started appearing in the evening.

 

Watching on an Android tablet. I've even deleted the app and tried a fresh install.

 

Really confused as to why this has happened in such a short space of time on the same day.

Are you able to watch the same sky sports channel on your Sky+ or Sky Q box ?
