I note you have sky plus hd in that case everything is available via the on demand section of your box 

I'm not 100% sure content is available on Sky go

There is very limited Disney+ content but nothing from HBO Max that I can see.

if you are eligible you just need to activate it

HBO Max content is served into the on-demand, catch-up and box sets sections on Sky+ boxes because that hardware cannot host apps.  This also means Sky+ users can't authenticate against HBO Max using their Sky box in the way Q, Glass and Stream can.

Both the Sky+ app and indeed the continued existence of that antique satellite television platform is an anomaly.

Hi, yes I understand that, but just like the old 'unsupported' Sky+ app continues to list and update new channels on catchup/box sets, it would be lovely if the alleged continued support of Sky Go would show and allow downloads for HBO Max as it does for most channels.

@Mike+Mepmoop  It could quite simply be down to the licensing agreement Sky has with HBO, in other words HBO may be ok with sky giving sky plus customers access via the box but would prefer customers to download content from their own app rather than a third party 

sky can't unilaterally offer a service that they haven't got permission for
