I don't know what they told you on the chat but as it is still open then you can use it to inform this to them.

See the thread from 25 April 2026 started by JonnO, several others having the same issue. I have managed to set up recordings from the desktop version of Sky Go on my Windows 11 laptop but can't from my Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet.

I've got the same problem, recording & downloading, on both Android & iOS with the Sky Go app!

Still same problem since reported, no contact from Sky yet re this problem.
It's more than 48 hours, nothing.
