Phone won't connect sky Q

All of a sudden both of our mobile phones won't connect to our sky Q box, yet we have sky in multiple rooms. Has the sky go app changed?

Same as another thread. Weird.

 

Just tested mine and it's fine. I'm on iOS 18.0.1 and I see there's an 18.1 update though...

Everything is updated. Turned phone off and on, uninstalled and reinstalled app. Using android phone. Read somewhere that you have to have sky Go extra but never needed this before!

Yeah I meant maybe mine works because it is NOT updated to the latest.

You don't need Sky Go Extra to be able to connected the Sky Go app to your Sky Q box but you do need multiscreen so do you have this on your account ?

Sky Go won't connect to Q Box

For some reason I now don't seem to be able to access my previous post so having to start new discussion. I've checked my account and we have Sky Q multiscreen, main box and mini. For 2 days we have been unable to connect our phones through Sky Go. It searches but error message says no Q box found. Done all the things recommended but still won't connect. Sky help bot useless.

So much for this theory. Upgraded to 18.1 and still works fine.

emails now going there and back to Sky whilst they ask me the same questions over and over and I carry out the same processes with no success. Everything is connected correctly, we have multi room and in the sky setting everything that should be ticked is. Says I should be able to watch tv through Sky Q  and mini box but search deson't bring my phone up. We are connected the same wifi, so emails will continue.
