How to see recorded programs using Sky Go app versus the Sky plus app

I  see that the Sky Plus app will soon be out of support.  I  use that app most mornings to see what is on  TV  that night and to record anything interesting.

I have tried the Sky Go app as a  replacement,  but I can't work out how to see the planner list,  to see what programs I already have recorded.  (I don't particularly want to watch programs in the app,  just to see what is available).

Am I missing something?  Does Sky Go app not show the planner?

There is no planner list shown in the Sky Go app as there is with the Sky+ app so to see your recordings you would need to go to the TV Guide and the channel

in question as you should see the recording icon against anything you have set to record.

Thanks caesarome,  that sounds like a lot of work versus a quick look at the planner listing.  For me,  the Sky Go app is a big step backward from the Sky App.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, the current Go app is descended from the Sky Q app rather than the Sky+ app.  It's unlikely that Sky intends to modify Go to match what was available in the Sky+ app, given that Sky+ as a platform is end-of-life.

So,  sooner  or later ,  I will have  to  give  up my Sky plus  subscription  and move  to  Sky Q?

@SueI22  Although sky would like to see all remaining plus subscribers move over to q or for that matter glass/stream, there isn't any current plans that we know of to completely shut down the main sky plus service  , but the same can't be said for additional services like the sky plus app.

but as @Annie+UK  has eluded to , there will eventually come a time for it to happen

Thanks everyone.  I will keep an eye  on  the status  of  Sky plus and  then review where I  get   my TV  from.

Q was launched in early 2016 and now has somewhere between 70% and 80% of the satellite subscription market.  Sky+ HD hardware hasn't been manufactured since 2015, and new subscriptions on that platform haven't been available for several years except for users on communal signal distribution systems incompatible with Q.

I think it's fair to assume that Comcast would probably prefer its Sky division not to be supporting Sky+ / Sky+ HD, Sky Q and Sky Glass / Stream: that's a hardware spread of more than two decades.
