Failure to connect to various channels using android sky go app 1

The Sky go app does not connect to a channel with blue screen and following notification.

Because of a technical issue you cannot watch this channel.  Please try again later.

A box appears under message saying "OK" 1

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@DavidElstree

Try signing out of the app then reboot your device and the sign back into the app.

If that doesn't work then try linking your Sky ID to your account, help on doing this can be found here:

Re: Failure to connect to various channels using android sky go app 1

Checked as per your response. Made no difference.

The app works ok for a few days then the same thing happens again. Only cure is to remove the app and re-install.

And again a few days later it happens.

There are no indications that the connections between the Q box and the tablet are suspect or that the internet is faulty. I have in excess of 150mb bandwidth!
