Keep getting error code
vgc4253024462
have tried clearing history cache, checking software up to date,
closing any apps that may have recording element ie zoom and still same message

Found the answer on a Virgin media forum and it WORKED immediately. If you have the snipping tool open the Sky app will not work. You will get a few seconds of blurry streaming then the error VGC-4253 appears on a black screen.
I closed the snipping tool which was open and the sky app viewer worked perfectly, even at full screen.

To add I can view sky movies no problem
all sky sports channels an issue.
have uninstalled and reinstalled desk top player still same problem.
starts to play few seconds later black screen with error message 😩

Also have you made sure the snipping tool is closed ?
