Unable to access Sky Go on AppleTV, not verified email

I did - it was the 'missing' title, but confusingly you have to set this in the 'Sky ID' section of 'My details' as there is no option to do this under 'Account info'.

Once that was done the app opened on my Apple TV and a pop up advised that 'Multi room is required to watch on Apple TV' - added that (£11/month) which then enabled Sky Go to work perfectly on the Apple TV.

THIS WORKED FOR ME.

I had to follow 3 main steps to watch SkyGo on Apple TV, (remeber if you are a sky stream customer you DO need a multiroom subscription to watch Sky Go on AppleTV (you dont need multiroom to just watch SkyGo on mobile). 

1 - Make sure the TITLE field is filled in. Login in on sky.com, click on "My Details" under you name. click "Manage Sky Id", then click "edit name" - make sure the "Title" field is filled in.

2 - Make sure a security question is set, follow the link: https://skyid.sky.com/updatesecurityquestion/

select a question and answer, then select update.

3 - I then logged out of sky.com on my computer and waited 15 mins. I then went to my phone, opened SkyGo and signed in on that first before trying to log in on AppleTV,

When you login, it will ask you to accept the terms and conditions. Only once you can watch Sky Go on your phone, try and login on AppleTV.

This worked for me - and I was also able to share my sky membership with my household (son), so he now has his own Sky Go account, linked to my main sky account. 

(I am a sky stream customer and have the extra Multiroom subscription on my account)

New to Sky. Same problem. Updated title deimstalles md reinstalled app. No security wuestion option. First line support unable to find way to set up. Link in the previous post not found anyone got an answer?

ANSWERED 

Here’s how I got it working after wasting hours yesterday.

Made new Sky account with new email.  Had to invite new email as manager from original account to get the accoun linked - this took a few goes as invitation initially would not accept.

Logged into Sky Go on iPad with new id. Asked to confirm TS and Cs.

This is where I am unsure if that worked as went to bed.

Plan to log into Apple TV today  with new id and then use same new id when sent to sky go with QR code at end of Apple log into Sky Go app.

 Anyway, prior to that rebooted the Apple TV. Hey presto. Sky Go working!

So unsure if a reboot yesterday would have worked. Or if the new id/acceptance of TS and Cs did the trick.

BTW. No option nowadays to set security question now two stage log in process.
