I have just purchased a new Apple M4 Mac and was looking to downloading the Sky Go app to it as I have before on older Imac models for this not to work.
I download the installer from the Sky website, run it and nothing happens.
I believe the system requirement to be adequate.
I have tried calling Sky, they just referree me to Youtube there were no videos of any assistance.
Is this a common problem, am I missing something or is it just not possible, the latter would be very frustrating.
Can anyone help??

I had this problem after a clean install of Mac OS and this is what worked for me:
1. Download the Sky Go installer.
2. Right click on the downloaded SkyGoInstaller file and choose 'Get Info'.
3. On the Get Info open tab, check 'Open using Rosetta'.
4. Open the SkyGoInstaller file and Rosettea should then install and afterwards, the SkyGoInstaller app should run and install.

Thank you so so much, you're a legend!!
Took me a bit of a google (other searches available I'm sure) to work out the right click to Get info, but sorted and I now have Sky Go.

Excuse me, i currently have Sequoia. If I do as you suggest and install Rosetta, then I would not have Sequoia anymore, right? I apologise for the stupid question, but this is not my field at all.
Thank you
