BBC channel visibility
I get I can't watch BBC channels away from home on Sky Go app but why can't you view what's on/record programmes when you're not connected to yr Sky box?? Didn't have that issue with the Sky+ App! ....but now they're removing Sky+....doesn't make sense

The reason for this is that the BBC themselves will not allow their live channels to be shown on the Sky Go app as they want us to use their app instead. The only way to watch them is when you are at home and the app is connected to your Sky Q box as they are then streamed from your box.

With the Sky Go app you have to be connected to your Sky Q box to be able to view your recordings in the same way that the Sky+ app has to be connected to the same internet connection that a Sky+ box is connected to be able to view the contents of the planner.

When it is removed from the app store the app itself will continue to work for the time being but certain functions might not work.
