Sorry I can't see how this helps me. But thanks anyway.

@aceofhearts they're just saying that it's not just about the iPad.

@swainsy Thank you. In my case it appears to be just the iPad. My Sky Box OK, Mac OK, iPhone OK, iPad not ok. By this I mean when I experience the problem, simultaneously I have all the other bits of equipment open and workng, all ok; the iPad is the only piece affected. Sorry if I have misunderstood.

Can anyone else not access the BBC channels on their Sky Go app? We have Ultra HD. Sky have done box resets and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app as suggested but it still is not available

for me it's set remote recordings on the ipad of bbc1 & 2. I know I can scroll for 20 minutes to channel 800 but that is not a satisfactory option. Any idea on an ETA for a fix?

For some like myself these channels have been like this for years so I wouldn't count on it being fixed anytime soon if at all. I usually use the search to find the program to set a recording.

Well that's ridiculous, the EPG and use on devices is one of the big selling points of sky to me. If it was one of their own channels I'm sure it would be fixed sharpish.

If you select 801, 802 etc. on your Sky Q Remote the channel is not available!
Why don't Sky move the EPG listings from the 800s to the 100s?
It's not Rocket Science is it?

If it was just as easy as that i'm sure it would have been fixed by now 😀

This issue was reported on January 8th.
it is now January 21st.
I spoke to Sky yesterday and got a completely ludicrous response.
When will this be fixed?
The obvious solution is to just use 101 and 102 for the HD channels since SD is no longer available!
it is a right royal pain in the backside to have to scroll to 801 and 802.

All it says is something about being "unavailable"! Honestly, Sky is the worst. Paying a hell of lot of money for similar stuff you can get elsewhere much, much cheaper, and having ads forced down our throats every five seconds even so. I only keep it because I have a deal on the F1.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe BBC SD channels are available because the BBC are only in HD now, this is down to the BBC and not Sky

I've got HD! And this is another annoyance, the HD and the SD channels all over the place in the planner making finding what you want like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe BBC HD channels can be found from 801 onwards if they do not appear at 101 and 102 for you and yes it has been a pain but it has always been this way so it looks like it will not be fixed anytime soon.
