Join Sky Go Mobile Beta Program

We’ve opened up a new Beta Program for Sky Go, and we’re looking for customers to join. It’s your chance to try the latest Sky Go version before it gets released, getting fixes and new features first.

If you’d like to join, simply follow the links below.

Join on iOS

To join Sky Go Beta Program on your iOS devices go to https://testflight.apple.com/join/vaqcCOMF

1. Click 'Accept' to install the beta version
2. Choose 'Send Beta Feedback' on the TestFlight app screen to share feedback with the Beta Trials team.

Leaving the Beta Program on iOS

To leave the Beta Program choose 'Stop Testing' at the bottom of the TestFlight app screen.

To switch to the public version of Sky Go:

1. Visit the App Store on your iOS device
2. Search for 'Sky Go'
3. Install the version available on the page

Join on Android 

To join Sky Go Beta Program on your Android device go to https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.bskyb.skygo 

1. Sign in with your Google account
2. Click 'Become a tester'

Leaving the Beta Program on Android

You can leave at any time by choosing 'Leave the program' at the bottom of the TestFlight app screen.

To switch to the public version of Sky Go:

1. Unistall the testing version
2. Install the public version on Google Play.

Important: if you are already a member of our customer trials, please do not sign up for the beta, as then you’ll get the same update twice!

The Public App is not fit for purpose, esp for my needs / situation Offshore with slow internet.

Hello I have a family member that got one of the code for the skin in call of duty well well they don't play video games and knew I'm glued to the games lol but I'm not having the best couple weeks maybe even month so I got the code sent to me and when I did I did it exactly how asked got the code from the app enter the code ps5 redeem and tried it on call of duty/ redeem both gives me a crazy long error msg or take me to a crazy mostly white webpagie or I get stuck just not stop trying to  load after I enter code and hit submit i don't understand why it is mot working it was a fresh code plz help me get my code working or the skin in the game or on my account please I had to spend 65 75 on just over seas calling to get the code and then I get so upset I can't get wat I had worked for and deserved well I feel I like I deserve the skin defiantly now but plz help I will attach a screenshot of code and anything I do have I don't know my gma account info but her name I ruby lean terry and papaw is Larry w terry also there account is not been active for a couple weeks they told didn't say why but anyway I'll send what I have and plz make my day and help get this code working or maybe let me just get a new code I know the promotion is over but the code can b redeem by September 10 or somthing round there can't wait to get ur help and hopefully finally get my skin that I've been trying to for well a month or so anyways have a great morning or night and can't wait to here to good news from you bye now

I see that there is a similar Beta for Windows,with a toggle in the client.

Is there any info on what this covers/whats being tested?

Basically like any beta, you will get early trial use of code before it finally gets sent out to all customers.
You may also be asked to comment on how it went during the trial or about a new feature.

According to Sky, I am signed up for the Beta but the app suggests otherwise. Either way, Sky go doesn't work. I have tried contacting the app developers and Sky and get conflicting answers, mostly saying Sky Go doesn't work on Chromebooks and that the Beta version won't make any diffecernece. Sometimes they admit they know there is a problem - and don't know how to solve it. I suspect if this had been affecting other systems they would have been working harder to fix it.
