Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

It looks like when Sky Live released. They did so with their partnership with Nex.

And now Nex Playground will be available early 2026 in the UK with their full library so it's not necessarily over for UK customers.

Full product available here: https://www.nexplayground.com/

Proof of UK availability: https://www.reddit.com/r/nexplayground/s/UxSXGvSQAP

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

If you pay by direct debit will the refund be paid into your bank account or taken off your next bill as I have a received a email saying I was receiving a refund to my bank but when I spoke to a sky agent, they advised me that the refund had not been actioned but it is being added as credit to my next bill?

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

Just sent mine back, I was paying £6 monthly so the refund is £48, the email said funds sent back to my bank account within 5 days but just checking my Sky bill and my bill for this month is projected at £54 lower.

What one is it likely to be?

Sky Glass Gen2 65"
Sky Air 43" in bedroom
LG 65" TV with Puck in spare room.

Broadband with Seethelight as on new build estate that does not support Sky.

Hi,

Have you received the refund or just the email?

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

Very disappointed, this was a key reason why I bought sky glass in the first place.  Now find myself bought into something that  had a number of functions such as keeping the kids entertained jumping around,  home exercise classes etc and now it's just going to be a basic tv with a few poxy games that don't work.   Annoyed to say the least and wonder where I stand ?

You could attempt  to use it as a negotiation point, but I suspect Sky are unlikely to be receptive so you'd need to be persistent.

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

It is now 27th November and the refund for the sky live camera was supposed to be sent 3 weeks from 4th November. I have not received it and am getting differing answers from support. I have looked through all my accounts and cannot find the 240 refund

@Bookkeeper89  Check to see if the credit has been applied to your sky account in the first instance has it will show up there before being sent to your bank account

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

Thank you for your reply

Yes it did initially appear on my account but I am told by support that it was set to my bank account on 10 th November.

The problem with this is that it does not appear on my bank account neither my current account or where the camera was originally paid from. Also the payment on 10th goes against the comment that it will not be repaid until 3 weeks from 4th November.

As I say most confusing.

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

Is everyone having one last game of Fruit Ninja, one last MVMNT workout and one last Zoom call today before Sky Live floats off into the tech grave yard tomorrow? Or has everyone already removed the device from their Glass TVs?

Remember to send it back to Sky for recycling rather than just chucking it in the bin - get a freepost returns label here:
