Software Error

I've had no TV all day due to this software error. The apps such as Netflix, ITVX etc have all disappeared and I cannot play any TV on any channel as it says loading and then a blue screen.

 

I've tried all 3 help options to restart, reboot etc. 

 

Current internet speeds are all good as have completed the checks on the Sky app. 

 

I am wondering if this is an actual TV problem that can't be resolved?

Looks like you have tried most of what we would normally suggest on the community.

 

I've escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
Look out for the blue chat bubble within your Sky community.

Sky is an absolute joke. I've been a customer for 17 years and I've spent over an hour on the phone today going through the same steps of turning the TV and WiFi off etc. The Sky tech on the phone asked us to turn our broadband router off and then she checked the broadband speed and said 100% that is the problem!!! Testing the speed when the router is turned off is not helpful. Everything else works in our house along with our other Sky TV. This TV clearly has a software malfunction. I give up. I think it will be easier to cancel everything as we got no where other than at the end of the call, your TV is a week out of warranty and would need payment. Absolutely ridiculous.
