SKY GLASS Customer two and a half years continual sky wifi problems

As a long term sky customer, I took the plunge and purchased SKY GLASS package two and a half years ago

after continually complaning about a poor internet (supplied by SKY)

they are telling me two and a half years into my contract that SKY GLASS requires 35MPS to run

and my connection appears to be incapable of meeting this requirement.

all this information was available to SKY when they sold the package to me,

So do I have a legitimate claim for a refund for ALL of my  subscription payments

given I was sold the package by sky in their full knowledge i would have an inferior service.

i am going to speak to trading standards regarding this matter

I would be interested if anyone else has encountered this debacle

@K2SSE  Sky actually updated their info on speed shortly after the launch, however as it seems to have taken you 2 years to speak to Sky you won;t have  aleg to stand on

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@K2SSE if you have genuinely had problems for all this time and are only just taking action now you have absolutely no legitimate right to seek recourse

the increase in minimum speed was announced in may 2023 not recently

Hi @K2SSE

@there are other ways you can ensure your glass receives the best possible stable connection if your speed is slower.

first thing is too plug the tv directly into the router with an Ethernet cable and turning off the WiFi in the glass settings. If this is not possible due to distance then a set of inexpensive powerline adapters will achieve the same end. This will ensure that you get the most stable connection.
