New Music Channels? - Music Box Tv Channels?

So now we have lost all the MTV Channels and thankfully left with the Now Music Channels, I'm wondering if Sky UK are thinking bringing the music box tv channels to the UK now that they have just rolled out in Germany. Looks like a good match replacement. Interesting Music Box use to be in the UK years ago... [removed]

That wouldn't be a decision that Sky can make, thats only a decision that the owners of the channel can make should they wish to enter into any sort of commercial arrangement with Sky to get their channels carried on Sky's streaming platform.

Ah ok! Thanks for this! I didnt know if sky maybe looking at new providers in this area. I found it interesting to learn they arrived on Sky Germany late last year so wondering if they maybe thinking of returning...

Sky Deutschland is owned by RTL Group: Comcast sold it to them in summer 2025

Sky branding is still in use, but channel lineup, scheduling and content is now an RTL issue.

At this point, it’s fairly obvious MusicBox are doing everything Sky based on Polish. But not in the UK though.

Sorry your post doesn't make sense,  Sky don't operate in Poland, the channels you refer to are Polish.

They are not UK based channels nor do they have licenses to broadcast in the UK.

Nothing to do with Sky in any way shape or form.

Following on from discussions had recently in this neck of the woods... Might be an idea to suggest 300 series, So it makes perfect sense since statistically they have a higher position than Sky EPG. I think just reducing Music genre cannot shunt moral responsibility for their new channel numbers,  maybe some more space will be freed up and have to create a room/ likely extend the unique Movie crowded genres. I don't mind POWERStarz2004 if Music moved down to '360-399', however it seems somewhere between '540-579' a big gap from '522-580' prospects and fits well in the middle of News/Religion once Specialist has closed down long ago imo. Despite the very different genre and sky need to place another channel as '350-399' Ent & Docs (Overspill), '480-489' Sports (Active), '540-579' Music then BBC regional 931-960 order.

And Digi Man thought that Sky was supposed to be moved into 360-400 on Music genre end of 389 to fill gaps, Including Movies between 301-359 a lot more for 3rd July 2012 reshuffle. Plus has lost 29, then keep Clubland TV. The remaining 5 music channels.

Still hasn't officially gone through yet , although they announced a output deal with Comcast NBC Universal only 5 weeks after the sale to RTL was announced.
