Re: New “Feature” Enabled by default

I still have no sign of this feature on my Glass TV nor my V1 or V2 puck.
I don't want it and will turn it off, but it would be nice to have everything up to date. 🙂📺📺

Neither do I - I wonder if the rollout was withdrawn or paused. To be honest with the launch of Disney + and HBO Max  if i was in charge I would certainly not want to be rolling out additional new features at the same time.

Re: New “Feature” Enabled by default

Recently got a new Sky Glass Gen2 and I'm not getting the option to default to TV on start up in the settings and I only get the Home Screen on start up, of which I do not want.

anyone know why

@DB109 I imagine rollout hasn't reached you yet (it hasn't reached me yet, either).

Re: New “Feature” Enabled by default

How long should it be before updates Are pushed to your TV? In my opinion It certainly shouldn't be taking over 2 months!

Re: New “Feature” Enabled by default

Im having the opposite problem as I need it to return to last watched channel on Sky Puck but it defaults to confusing home screen.  Which is no good as it's not compatible with a dementia remote control.  Sky tell me none of their devices will allow to return to last watched channel which i find it hard to believe.  Im cancelling sky because it's an impossible task

If it's of any use, my mother who has dementia, has a Manhattan Aero streaming box which defaults to the last watched channel every time you turn it on. It runs the TiVo OS and has the Freely app so it has all the main free-to-air channels in the UK. You don't need to go to a home screen or programme guide if you don't want to.

She finds it very easy to use as she really only switches between BBC1 and ITV for her favourite soap operas. There are simple buttons on the remote for the TV guide if she wants to look at it, and also buttons for Netflix, YouTube and Disney+.

Re: New “Feature” Enabled by default

That's useful to know. So can I return the puck to sky as its still within the cooling off period? I guess I can just get another company to provide phone and broadband and cancel sky for good?
