Glass hangs when choosing new pin

Tv didn't work, followed the advice on sky to pull plug press stand by for 20 secs meanwhile plug back in when pressing button , then go through connection setup , then pin didn't work so when to assign a new one and after filling out the new pin twice it just hung there yet I could delete code so wasn't stuck

Hi, I have the exact same issue this evening, I don't know if I'm allowed to ask this on here but have you solved this issue? If so, could you possibly advise me on what to do? I can't currently get in touch with anyone from Sky

Hi All, in the end I just perceive red and after about 4 times of unplugging and plugging in it seemed to work.  Actually thinking about it I think when you put your new code in and it hangs I think it recognised the change and you use that for next time you repeat the process

Same for me. Spent two hours talking to Sky agents last night, and have tried the recovery process 14 times. Still the same. Glass has been rubbish since I got it - big step backwards from Q

The following occasionally works on a pin error 

when you get to the pin entry screen pull the plug for a minute 

plug back in and go through the setup process again and the tv may skip the pin entry screen

Thanks for the suggestion, I've tried 19 times now. Something clearly wrong with the Glass, which is being replaced this morning. Who knows if this one will be any better...
