will sky glass work in addition to my sky Q

So Ive just re contracted to my sky q, and was wondering if I ordered a sky glass for my bedroom would it work ok with the rest of my package? I have whole home but front room is sky q 2tb then 3x additional mini boxes? TIA

@smithy112233  You can't have Sky Q & Sky Glass subscriptions at the same time, it's one or the other.

ah ok thanks for the reply the guy at sky seemed to think I could but I was unsure I will just get a new smart tv instead

If you order a new Glass TV from Sky then no, you cannot have it in addition to your Sky Q.

Sky only allow one system or the other. If you buy Glass it will immediately cancel your Q contract and you'll need to return the Q boxes to Sky.

You could purchase a second hand Glass TV (there are always plenty going cheap on eBay) and use it as a big monitor with the built-in soundbar. You won't be able to activate a Sky streaming TV subscription on it but you could attach one of your Q miniboxes to it via HDMI.

Also  bear  in mind if you order  a sky glass tv you  will  also need to order  pucks to replace  an sky q mini box you have and will have send all the sky q equipment back and that the first  month  of you sky glass tv  subscription, you  will  also have your  last month  Sky q subscription  to pay aswell
