the device turns off by itself
the puck device turns off by itself and when you try turning in on with the remote it doesn't turn ok. you have to phiscally press the on button on the device then the remote operates. it's been an on going issue

@Rozina1982 the pucks are designed to go into standby after roughly 15 minutes with no signal but should not do so if streaming. From your description you may have a dodgy unit which Sky should swap out if you ask them.

Was thinking about getting stream but based on this forum it sounds like the hardware is complete trash so I don't think I'll bother.
I can't say I am surprised either

Yes the switching off after 15 minutes when not in active use is annoying but is by design, though I would argue that being on pause should still count as in active use.
Regarding the unit not switching out of standby when you press the power button on the remote, can you try pressing the Home button to switch it on instead?
