That should be more than enough in terms of speed but it also needs to be a stable connection. If there are any speed fluctuations it can cause the TV to flip out and crash or cut out. You may find things improve if you can connect an ethernet cable between your TV and router and turn wifi off on the Glass TV's network settings. 

If that's impossible then give Sky a ring for further troubleshooting. They may agree to replace the TV.
