Its worth noting that 25-30 Mbps is the minimum recommended speed, so with that internet speed you may suffer general issues with the performance of your Sky Glass, particularly if you have other devices using the internet at the same time. Also if you are connected via Wifi any fluctations in Wifi signal strength will reduce the download speed the Glass TV will get, which at times could drop you below that minimum recommended speed.

@redroo1 Try this thread:

Basically Sky are aware but we need to await a fix. A factory reset will temporarily resolve the problem but should only be done with Sky in case of problems re-setting it back up. I'm one of those affected customers.

Re: glass reboot

Hi, I had this problem and after consultaion with Sky I upped my broadband package with them and now have a speed of 69/70 megabits. This didnt sort the problem out, however the tv then developed a black line across the screen and Sky replaced the unit and the new one still needs a reboot each time. I have tried turning off other wifi connected items but the problem still exists. Bearing in mind the tv is connected directly with an ethernet cable supplied by Sky. Additionally on some occasions within 3-5 minutes of being on I suddenly get a black screen but can still here the sound of the programme!? I just dont understand what the problem is.

@Denty51 See my earlier reply with a link to a thread? That is probably the issue you and many others, myself included are having. It is a firmware issue. Read the marked answer in that thread and the last 2-3 pages of it for a possible workaround until it is fixed.
