Why won’t my sky playlist have subtitles

Ive just started with a sky glass air tv and as I miss a lot of tv im using my sky playlist .
im deaf how do I get subtitles on my playlist .
if I can't it's useless

The subtitles settings will depend what show is being watched and from which app.

If you press the ... button on your remote and scroll once to the right you can turn on subtitles, if the show is being played from Sky's servers. However if the show is being played from say ITV X or BBC IPlayer, each app has their own subtitle controls and you would need to turn on the subtitles in each app individually.
