Hi,
I don't believe this is just me with the problem but when watching a program that's live on TV from start 9 times out of 10 it will just break mid watch. From what i've seen it's because the program is now finished and it's not on catch up yet so when you attempt to fast foward to skip the advert the show will just end and you can't watch it.
Surely this just makes the watch from start feature completely pointless? I've had various times over the last month i can't finish watching my shows that night because it just ends half way. Do we know if this will ever be resolved or we just have to live with this issue? I'm 6 months out from the end of my contract and at the moment can't see how i'd stick with this mess.

So there is a known issue with the "watch from start" feature that is being investigated by Sky and this is where you use the watch from start feature and then when the live show ends and you try fastwording or rewinding ( perhaps through an ad break), the stream resets you back to the start and gets stuck until you exit the show and then go back into it from your playlist ( although it will start from the beginning).
For the issue where the live broadcast ends and the stream just stops and you are unable to then watch the show, in theory there isn't anything that could be done in that scenario. If Sky don't have the rights to take a cloud recording of the show, then when the broadcast ends it would make sense the delayed watch from start stream terminates as well. Unfortunately not all broadcasters make their replays available immediately on their on-demand apps, a good example of this is ITV X, which does sometimes have a couple of hours delay when it comes to them making live shows available on the platform after broadcast.
