Upgrade to gen 2

I have a sky glass contract till May 2026, for an 55 inch original sky glass tv. If I want to upgrade to a 65 inch gen 2 model, from the quote online it looks like this will cost me another £24 per month. Is it that simple, my concern is that I'm paying for two tv's until May next year. Suppose I could wait until then, just seems daft I can't upgrade simply.

@DGDGDGDavid  You're not upgrading you are ordering a 2nd Glass set at the price quoted, this is in addition to your current repayments for Gen 1 Glass.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@DGDGDGDavid You are correct. Though you do take ownership of the Glass on delivery so you could try selling your Gen One secondhand to pay off some/all of your credit agreement. It's what I did.

Contrary to what Sky said when the Gen 1 launched in October 2021, there's no 'upgrade' path on the lines of the Sky Mobile 'Swap' scheme.

Probably just as well given the pittance they offer for phone swaps. Far better to resell yourself.
