UHD selection on Sky Glass

I have Ultimate Package on Sky Glass. When watching movies I can only see them in HD. If I want to watch in UHD I have to go to the Movies option on the Homepage and select the UHD version of the film. Why won't my tv just select UHD over HD when available?

The Sky Cinema channels (301-311) do not broadcast in uhd, only hd.

As you have found out, the only way to view Sky Cinema movies in UHD is to play the On demand version, available from the Sky homepage rails and search options.

 

From within the tv guide, clicking on a non live movie, will also bring up the On demand listing of the movie to play in UHD (if available for that film).

shame they can't set the tv to always select best available option.
