Two Sky Glasses, two locations

Just wondering if anyone has advice on this issue. It's been driving me mad and involved many calls to Sky, though I have to say all the Sky people have been very friendly.

The issue for me is that they not always singing from the same hymn sheets.

Quite simply, I wanted to have two Sky Glasses each in a different location. Both paid for by me with two Sky subs.

Problem is, I just wasn't told that this not possible as both Sky Glasses need to be on the same broadband network.

If I knew this, I wouldn't have gone ahead and my son in one location wouldn't be watching TV through a Firestick in the back of one of the Glasses.

Finally  after many phone calls, the solution seems to be to get my son to sign up with a new Sky ID.

Then when done it will need to be linked to my account.

Anyone done this successfully? Thanks.

Each would need a seperate account, I'm not aware of a way to have 2 seperate accounts under 1 ID, threfore you'll need to have 1 account for your home with your address etc and a 2nd account with a different email for the 2nd address.

You can't have 2 Glass TV's under the one account but operating at different addresses.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@RussellCoatham

If both sets are currently on the same subscription using Whole Home then you'd probably need to cancel the add-on, which would cause one set to stop working for Sky content.  It could then be associated with a different Sky subscription at another address as if it were acquired second hand.
