I bought a sky glass , I have only had it a year , now sky bring gen 2, how long till they bring something else out.

No on here can answer that as we are fellow subscribers. However the original one was 4 years old. You would imagine it would be a similar duration. However most manufacturers bring new models out in much shorter durations.

Sky's release frequency is far less than other manufacturers like LG or Samsung who bring out multiple models a year and update them yearly.
Sky Glass Gen 1 was around 4 years old when replaced by Gen 2.
Sky Glass Air is launching this year, a cheaper model without a built-in soundbar. This is a supplementing product, not a replacement for the main Sky Glass.

The Gen 1 model was released in October 2021, and the Gen 2 in February 2025. Such a long period between hardware versions is extremely unusual in the television industry.
