Trailer in iplayer

When switching to iPlayer, there is always a trailer of a programme, usually 20 secs long.  On the bottom right-hand cormer of the screen, there is an icon to skip the trailer, but that does not correspond to anything on the remote.  How can I go straight to what I want to watch, please?

Hi @JohnHowells 

You press the center circle button on the remote when the "skip" button is highlighted and this will start playback. These trailers are inserted by the BBC within their application.
