Audio/Visual not synced

Sky sports sound not syncing with visual. Both last night and tonight the sound is not in time with the visual

Sky are working on a fix. Changing channel and back again should resolve temporarily.

Most the ones I saw said it should have been mixed by end of Jan that's why ai posted again. I've only just started to have these issues

There was an update in January but it still happens for some people.

Well I guess have adopted the "if we ignore it, it will go away" approach!!!

still having issues 4 times during boxing last night with lip sync!

the last agent I spoke to last Saturday asked me to please wait till 7th March why I'm not sure!!

That's probably in reference to the QS035 update that's rolling out at the moment. Although current estimates are that it will finish rolling out across all customers on the 25th. Those timelines may have changed since you spoke to them.

@amagluglug  The only thing that will resolve the lip sync issue is an update.  Whether or not the new update will work is another matter 🤞.  Sky hoped that the previous update would resolve the issue but as we all know this was not the case but TBH in my case it did improve the situation.

So they should stop trying to update and resolve because the last one wasn't a 100% solution? And at the same time people complain they're not doing anything.  Nonsense.

Had a text this morning updating me on the issue (I had logged a complaint with Sky):

 

"HI it's Sky. We have released a software update which has improved the Lip Sync issue. Thank you for your patience in this matter. We will leave your case open for the next 28 days to ensure no further issues occur, if you require any assistance, please call XXXXXXXXX. NoReply"

 

seems pretty confident it will do the trick

Hi @AndyCairns  Fingers crossed that this update sorts it out🤞 .   I'm not sure that it has actualy started rolling out yet as I am on the first 5% run of updates and so far my puck has not been updated (they could have started with the Glass TVs though)

Yea let's all "believe in better" I'm waiting 5 months for this to be sorted!!
