Maybe one of the issues with more customers not speaking out on this is that the topic is clearly marked - I assume by Sky - as “Answered - go to answer”.
This topic hasn’t been answered. All that’s been suggested is a 5-minute sticking plaster, after which the problem reoccurs. Problems like this would see car manufacturers issue a mass recall but, based on the lack of response to date, Sky seems to be sitting on its corporate hands.
And @Jporch316 I’m also not buying the “Christmas staffing delay” excuse - Sky still took my money in full in December, they didn’t take half of it and say “we’ll be short-staffed, so it'll take us a while to sort any problems, so we’ll give you two weeks for free”.

Yes Billyfishfingers that would be the way to go not for sky they blame everyone but themselves either they are not aware of the complexity of the issues by just fobbing us of with negativity feedback
Sky has to take us seriously and get it sorted NOW

Hi, we are trying watch the pre match banter on sports channel 402( Liverpool v Man Utd). As alsways there are loads of ad breaks prior to game, but every time the ads start the speech sync is 3-4 seconds behind. Some ads have finished before the talking stops!
every time I have to change channel and revert back. Then all is fine till the next ad break.
im surprised that this has not yet been resolved. It happens across several channels particularly when ad breaks come on, and being the sports channels these do seem to suffer the most.
any feedback or solutions from others really appreciated
thanks

I am sick to my back teeth of this absolutely shocking Sky Glass TV.
It was sold to me as the best smart tv... trust me there is nothing smart about it.
I have complained multiple times about lip sync issues and today whilst watching the Liverpool v Man Utd , I've had to change channels multiple times as I'm listening to Gary Neville's voice whilst Daniel Sturridge's mouth is moving.
It is so frustrating that I pay all this money to watch live sport that is clearly not live!!
Sky are clearly in breech of contract and I intend on cancelling and demanding all of my money back.
I have many videos of this absolutely atrocious tv service.
Avoid Sky Glass TV at all costs

Absolutely shocking from Sky, I've reported this numerous times and still no solution, it's been going on for months.
I posted earlier and it got deleted.
I will be cancelling my contract and demanding all of full refund as they are clearly in breech of contract as I pay for live TV which I simply do not get.
I have multiple videos to prove my case.
Hopefully this comment will not get deleted.

If you think the only people experiencing this issue are the people posting on here you are truly deluded.
the amount of people on here are a tiny proportion of sky customers and the vast majority don't even know this forum exists.
By the law of averages it's likely thousands will be affected (but put up with it) rather than a hundred or two.

Typical deluded response from someone within the Sky fold.
Well, I'm a customer, and Sky Glass owner same as you, presumably? 😁
But you are taking exactly the same stance as Sky, just because you are not experiencing the issue..... yet.....
It doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist, it's a real problem, I've had Glass since launch and put up with a lot of issues such as the local dimming issue at launch, the the failed firmware update in the summer when everybody who got the failed update woke up to a bricked Sky Glass, Sky did nothing for a whole 3 days telling folk to use Sky Go, in the end the only way to fix it was a forced firmware update and a factory reset Glass. And now this is by far my worst experience with Sky Glass.
I'm fed up, like many others, with Sky telling us it's a broadband issue, no it isn't a broadband issue, because 2 months ago this problem didn't exist, many others on the forum say the same.
Sky won't even acknowledge the problem, but they still want to take our money for an unwatchable service. Watchingbthe darts final a few evenings ago made me realise how bad this problem is. So bad that I'm not tolerating this from Sky any longer email sent this morning to Dana Strong.
