Do you have broadband to other devices?
Have you unplugged the TV for at least 10 minutes?

Yes turned everything off. The tv that runs off the sky puck is fine, all other devices are running as normal (iPad/laptop/phones)- must be an issue with the actual tv? We only got it in October

I'm not sure I'd even have a cable long enough to connect it from the router to the tv, plus the tv is fixed the wall. I'm resigned to it not working today, but if I ever find a number for Sky I'll be calling them tomorrow!

That's what the warranty is for. Report the problem to Sky and as long as you are in the 2 year warranty period they will swap the set out.
