Sky glass sucks

Last one had issues why I don't know, but they said ah you need a replacement that cost thirty euros! Why I didn't break anything now the NEW tv is having exactly the same issues what the hell! Can not wait until contract is up I'm counting the days. You try to watch a program and it's fine you try watch something else it has a fit an absolute fit talk about frustration the only fix is plug it out! It's 4am I'm lying on my sofa relaxing every time I change channel I have to get up and plug it out! What a load of rubbish if I didn't think I'd get divorced I'd throw the stupid thing out the window I'm sick of it absolutely sick of it two tvs doing same thing what a joke the money (Removed) is crazy considering I paided for a replacement too only to have same thing happen so therefore there all faulty every single one and definitely would steer well clear for your sanity

Nope, mine doesn't do that.

Why do you have to unplug it?

It's a question for you. What is your Glass doing that it shouldn't, or not doing that you think it should? Error message?

Re: Sky glass sucks

Answer to your question is in my original post I wrote, your watching something you try watching something else and it has a fit as in stops streaming why that's any concern of yours is a mystery to me.. you said nope don't have that problem now that I don't believe every streaming device has an issue once in a while we accept that here as a community I feel but what we don't accept is sky charging us for a new tv with same issues etc but back to why you are reply not a sky team member.. I see it's a thing on all post here tho there's someone writing back with unhelpful and unwarranted reply's to every post. This is not for airing our issues and frustrations?? I personally would never of seen this page if sky was good or even ok for that matter (removed)

@Ihateskyglass  This is a customer community for discussing Sky products😉

If you want to talk to Sky support you have to phone Sky🤔

Many have little or no issues with Sky Glass ... so your claim that al Glass TVs are defective is bold... who is you ISP?

How the Glass TV is installed and the connection to the internet can result in your issues😟

As well as those like yourself who post to complain, there are others here who try to offer help. Nothing suspicious about that. It's  the way forums work.

Only Sky would know the percentage of Glass customers who have intractable issues, but from personal experience, I know your assertion that 'there (sic) all faulty every single one' is an exaggeration.

As @Exiled-in-HH posted, your issues may be,broadband related.

If that were the case, given Glass has now been on release for more than three years, you might think that

a) consumer rights organisations, competitors in the television market and the wider media might have noticed

and

b) this forum would be rather busier

Re: Sky glass sucks

They have noticed any reviews don't read well for sky and any search at all and it's evident the customers aren't happy I can screen shot you them but I'm not that bothered I'm not an internet warrior I just want to give my opinion I had one for a year and it was always buggy and I put up with it until it got too bad then we complained and were told to pay thirty euro for a replacement we did that and the new one has the same faults even more actually after a while the lips aren't matching the words and I have sky fibre it's not a connection issue it's not a bad line etc it's just a bad product and I've had bad products before but never had to defend myself from so many do gooders and every complaint on here is treated the same. So you don't expect any replies when submitting to a Customer Community ....   now that is strange😉

What is clear is you have had issues with two TVs ... request a replacement ... and then use the three strikes rule🤔

Re: Sky glass sucks

I didn't expect so many people with no problems to be hanging around waiting to defend the product with passive aggressive 😂comments is all, I didn't say they or you couldn't reply or I don't expect a reply. Your 3500+ posts suggest you enjoy engaging in this kind of thing your right I had problems with two tv's clear also clear I was giving my personal not professional opinion all of them are faulty obviously 😂🤪🥸🥺 but now you mentioned it I have since investigated more and this community alone tells you anyone with sky glass would love to go back to sky q you should know that you reply to them all. Anyway to be clear in my opinion there all faulty because I got two that never worked properly from the start. That ok to say or no in your opinion

Re: Sky glass sucks

My broadband is through sky so if I'm in contract for a tv and my broadband is through sky they should provide the service there charging for. Others that offer help eh no I just see defensive comments no offer of help to be honest. (Removed)

Of course you can say that.  It's just demonstrably illogical to make such a claim once one works elsewhere, and there are many hundreds of thousands of Glass sets in use.

It's absolutely not a great television set, as I've been remarking since I got ours in November 2021, but it's generally a whole lot better than back then as the software has matured.
