I was watching a film on my 55' sky glass that I'm still paying off, and red lines just started appearing all over the screen then the sound went off and now the screen is covered in different coloured lines like it's been hit? This hasn't been hit it's high up and never been touched it's been where it's always been - I don't even clean the screen in fear of breaking it / I have unplugged and plugged back in after half an hour and no change . I am worried what will happen now? I have no insurance. But this isn't my fault and I am still paying?

Try unplugging for a few minutes and then plug it back in that usely helps

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Missy10 About two years ago I had a 2 inch wide grey line appear on my Glass TV screen. Initially I did a standard reboot, which I see you have already tried, but this didn't help so I left the TV unplugged overnight and the line disappeared and luckily it never came back.
Give it a try but if it doesn't resolve the issue or if it keeps coming back you should call Sky for additional troubleshooting and if necessary a replacement TV if you are still within your 24 month warranty.

I will leave switched off all night to see if helps but I've left it off for a few hours now and just tried but having the same result unfortunately. Really praying that they just replace the TV given I'm still in a contract with them!

If you contact Sky they will no doubt have some things to try. Whether or not they offer to replace your Glass TV will largely depend on whether or not it is still within the 24 month warranty period and not if you are in contract or not.
Good luck 🤞.
