Sky glass gen 2 nits

Anyone know how many nits the gen 2 has over the gen 1?

Don't worry @Anonymous , nothing to do with head lice 😂, its to do with the measurement of brightness of devices with screens.

I have a sky glass  gen 2 and found a test on YouTube  that shows  the screen went up to 4000 nits

I'd suggest that's unlikely, given the Gen 1 was originally about 400 and got to a bit under 700 with the Vivid  firmware update ; )

 

A really top-end set might manage 3000 peak

Well did  try one and the screen  did get brighter  each time the nits went up to me i may be wrong   but i don't  think so as it was an hdr screen  test  on YouTube  i do get that they can be manipulated  before be put on there but the screen did get brighter to me

Only thing on Google i can find is 1300 nits on the gen 2, but cannot find it to be officially confirmed.
