Options after Cancelling Sky Glass

I have recently cancelled sky glass and am now assessing my options. Is there anyway someone else (i.e partner) can add on a new subscription to this tv? Reason i ask is to renew after 2 years, we were told the price would be very high. I see you can get sky stream for £15 but been told you cant use them on sky glass? I kinda get why but all i want is the basic sky package on our owned Sky Glass TV?

Puck connect  to the tv by the hdmi  port  but the subscription  is more or less  the same as the sky glass  subscription  depending  on what you subscribe  to in the package

Connecting a Stream puck to a Glass TV would be somewhat ridiculous as the OS is pretty much identical on both and the streaming service works in an identical manner.

You could get your partner to try and start a new cheaper streaming TV subscription by getting them to call Sky and say they have purchased a Glass TV second hand (ie your existing Glass TV) and want to add a subscription to it. There is a webpage with further details here:

That would be the 'Essential TV' content subscription: a cut-down channel selection which includes Sky Atlantic, plus Netflix Standard with Adverts and Discovery+ Basic
