Hi all this is my first post so apologies if it's in the wrong place. I've recently got sky glass and I'm aware that I can only watch live TV via an aerial if the internet is down. In such a situation would all Freeview channels be available or just a selection? I want the ability to watch all Freeview channels not just when the internet is down so I've finally got to my main query ie would installing a Freeview receiver allow me to switch seamlessly between Sky glass TV when broadband is working and DTT via the aerial and in that case would all Freeview channels be available. Long winded but tried to cover all bases. Thanks.

Using an external Freeview receiver over HDMI is definitely more versatile than the built-in DTTV tuner which is largely there for regulatory purposes in other territories rather than a practical feature.

Re: Sky glass TV when int is down
Sky Glass TVs do not support the full Freeview service, there channels available on Freeview TVs that will not be available on. Sky Glass TVs. ... BUT all channels received via the aerial should be available🤔

Welcome to the forum @geebee51 . When your internet is down if you connect a TV ariel to the Sky Glass you will be able to receive the DTT channels.
In theory if you have another Tv in the house that is plugged into main Ariel you will be able to receive the same DTT channels which can be received from that TV.
