With the latest 30.520 update that has infected both of my Glass TVs this morning, Sky has killed the use of Sky Q remotes. They now don't pair over Bluetooth and are sadly only using IR now - so no voice command using the remote. Deliberate or oversight?

@Jporch316 Yes indeed, several times. No dice.

@Kenny-J it's a more logical and fully featured remote - actual REW and FF buttons for a start. Just a preference.

The Q remotes have much better build quality too. I had one that lasted 3 years without a single fault.
I had Sky Stream for less than a year and three remotes failed in that time.

Find out more@82bit My stream puck was updated last night and unfortunately as you say you can no longer pair the Sky Q remote to operate Stream (and Glass as in your case). It will work in IR mode though which is how I use mine with my Stream remote as my primary which is connected via bluetooth.
