Sky Glass order and then Sky cancelled my order without explanation

I spent 40 minutes on the phone earlier today to customer services.  I am a Sky Q customer and was upgrading to Sky Glass.  I placed the order this afternoon and have this evening recieved emails saying my order has been cancelled.  The order tracking system in my Sky only shows the packaging dispatch for returning my Sky Q hardware.

 

Following the tracking link from the email confirming the delivery date received earlier today now says that the retailer has cancelled my order and it appears that all of my current TV subscriptions on Sky Q end tonight.

 

What the hell is going on?
