Sky Glass order and then Sky cancelled my order without explanation

I spent 40 minutes on the phone earlier today to customer services.  I am a Sky Q customer and was upgrading to Sky Glass.  I placed the order this afternoon and have this evening recieved emails saying my order has been cancelled.  The order tracking system in my Sky only shows the packaging dispatch for returning my Sky Q hardware.

 

Following the tracking link from the email confirming the delivery date received earlier today now says that the retailer has cancelled my order and it appears that all of my current TV subscriptions on Sky Q end tonight.

 

What the hell is going on?

Meant to also say that there was no sign of a credit agreement email either.

It may have been cancelled  because  you failed  the credit check, have you had a credit agreement  to sign  ?   Ring sky tomorrow  and check

@Sharpy1006  If you ordered Sky Glass on credit it may be that you have failed the credit check.

 

You would need to speak to Sky to find out, however they would not be able to tell you anything about your credit score or the reasons why you failed.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

ok thanks.  Seems mental that my monthly bill was about to fall by £70 by switching from Q to glass but ok.  I will call them tomorrow,  thanks for the info.

That would imply that you are massively overpaying for Sky Q.  Note also that Sky Glass is not an "upgrade", it's just something very different.

@Sharpy1006  Do you need a new TV ... Did you consider Sky Stream pucks?

 

Are you on a rolling Sky Q contract or an active Sky Q 18 or 24 month discount offer?

I'm on a rolling Sky Q contract with Broadband etc and have been paying full price for a few months as I wanted to see if Fibre BB was going to become active in my area before switching.  Its not anytime soon so switching providers.  This prompted the TV conversations with SKY
