Sky Glass is getting worse

Service seems to be degrading. What with the outage last month, the constant lag browsing the menu and the ridiculously annoying 'Please wait' to just display the Home Screen.

And now... this!

WHILE it's actually playing the live content. Just nuts. Anyone who doesn't have Glass and is thinking whether or not they should get it - DON'T!

What is your  broadband speed and  how is that tv connected,  I have a similar  setup and I have my tvs  connected  with ethernet cables and have no problems, with freezing  or anything  like that, but i also have  sky gigafast broadband 900mps full fibre to the property, and don't forget  sky glass is a big broadband user, and the more devices  that are connected  and running  the weaker  the wifi  signal  is to each device and things  like brick interior walls in old building  can effect  your  wifi  signal  to

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately this ain't my first rodeo with regards Sky and their disastrous streaming offering. I have Sky gigabit FTTP and all fixed devices are hard wired. It's not a network issue. It's a Sky issue. Always has been if you ask me, the "it's your WiFi" line is just an easy standard line to blame more deep-rooted issues on.

So you are still  on the copper  phone line and not the fibre optic cable? Like I am, so you  don't have  one of these boxes

Which  is full fibre broadband to the property,  not to the cabinet then copper phone line from the cabinet  to  your  property 1000017516.jpg

Re: Sky Glass is getting worse

Apologies, post corrected. Yes full fibre to premises. Rock solid since the day it was installed, 5 years ago, with 99.9% uptime as reported by my router. Like I said, these are not home network issues. It's just a sub-standard product.  This is evidenced by the sheer amount of nannying it requires - constant reboots, etc - which legacy Sky products (Sky+, Sky+HD, Sky Q) rarely needed.

Sky Q before about release 7 of the firmware?

I've owned yo-yos which required less frequent restarts.
