Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24

Switch it off at the mains. Then when you switch it back on hold the power button on the side until the red light continously flashes.  Evenyually the sky symbol will show on the tv and it will go through the reset.  My power switch is nowhere near the tv so I couldn't hold the power button whilst switching the mains on and off.  But it still resets if you hold the power button on immediately after you have switched the tv back on from the mains.  Good Luck.

Hi I've got a Sky Puc and it's been off since yesterday. I've tried resetting it, I've turned it off and off and left it off all night. Still nothing. It keeps flashing white and then the sky logo appears on screen then it goes blank. The sky chat isn't available and wait times are 40 mins. The message when you call  is saying they're aware that there is a problem and they're working on it. No idea when it will be fixed! Has anyone else got any idea or ETA fix or how Sky will let us know? I'm in Surrey.

people need to register their complaint with ofcom I cannot give you the number as it wont let me post it on here. you need to report the lack of sky customers service and lack of communication and updates on what is happening .I have just done this and they will give you a reference and c sas number if you need to take it further when it comes to gaining compensation and if you dont recieve any resolution with sky.

Good morning all after trying many things I have now got sky back .here's what I did

Press and hold the on button on the tv keep holding it till the red light continually flashes let go and wait 

It will start doing updates there was 2 on mine 

Then just complete what it tells you to do on screen

I have done the 10 minute power down again and my still having the same problem will not turn on what is the next step as the the phone are busy and I don’t have the time to sit on hold can someone please help ????

Thank you everybody, I took your advice - I held the button on the bottom right hand side of the tv for about 30 seconds and I am up and running. You have to go through a few steps but it doesn't take lone. Good luck everybody

The irony our payment came out yesteday and it switched off last night! I cannot believe we can't watch anything at least before if you lost satellite signal you could watch terrestrial/digit tv channels. Glass needs to come with more warnings!

Sky puk not working since yesterday, rebooted, reset and still the same.

You have to hold it in for a while until the white sky symbol appears on yout tv.  Try again. Good Luck!

I'm away weekend so have turned puk and tv off. Hopefully back to better news
