This worked for me switch puck off at the mains put your finger on the switch under the puck
Turn puck back on wait till puck flashes red make take several seconds
Then you will after set up puck like you did when you first had it
When you get to pin set up I had to turn puck off then back on before puck reconised
My pin goog luck

When folks g thru the steps to where it asks you to hold down the two buttons on your remote, hold your remote very close to the puck and you will find this works to progress through to the next step.
Hope this helps some folks!
p.s. a normal remote operates via Bluetooth but when setting the puck up it doesn't, hence you have to put it right next to the puck.

Sky stream not working and no info from sky except a fix that doesn't work

@Lee242 Have you followed the procedure linked in the answer to this thread (see post 2). It had me back up and running in just a few minutes.
During the procedure when you have to enter your activation code make sure you are signed into your My Sky account at www.sky.com before you enter the code.
Also if asked to enter a PIN ignore it and switch the puck off at the plug and then switch it on again after about 30 seconds. The puck will then reboot and you can complete the process.

Thanks for the reply i willtry that but the remote is already in Bluetooth mode as it changes the volume. From a distance. Dave

If you are using a puck the remote will need to be line of sight to the puck not the tv. My puck was below and out of sight and the volume on my remote was controlling the tv but not the puck until I got close to it
it's IR to the tv and puck after a reset

When will it be back on have weekend full of kids and still no sign it going on really doing my head in now and kids are getting very bored had nothing last night and so far all day today

Same, been on hold to sky for an hour no reply.... bet they will still try and charge us all for the 2 days it's been down😂

Just clicked on your link on my iPhone then signed in and took me straight to the activation page .... using google app on my iPhone

right so after hours on hold 3 days of no tv, and giving up, 3 resets,
I saw on an online forum about using your phone hotspot to connect to WiFi to get onto the software update stage, so I have done exactly that, and it's worked!!!

Probably swamped with requests. Sky should be able to correct remotely. Dreadful state of affairs if it can effectively immobilise every Glass or streaming user in the country, but not have the wherewithall to correct the fault itself

I am trying to grt my sky glass tv to turn, when I go to Network setup its saying could not connect to my broadband router or the internet.

@Katrina15 This issue was fixed yesterday morning so have a look at my post 3275 above as this may help you get up and running again.
I am aware that some people are still having issues even after following the recovery procedure. So good luck 🤞
