Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24
My sky glass tv has been playing up since yesterday now it just won't go on just a red pulsing standby light I've tried everything I checked on the service checker and it just said in my area but reading all these comments I now think it's a lot larger than that currently on hold with sky think I'm wasting my time

No, nothing working, coming on. Sky Puck in the kitchen is also having same issue. When issues like this arise, Sky phone line should cope with the amount of frustrated customers, but more and more, you get asked to check things online rather than the ability to speak to a real person, so that the issue can be logged and there's history etc.

Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24
We were going insane! I'm relieved we can stop attempting to make it work over and over again and wait for Sky to do their thing now. Hold tight everyone..!

Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24
Do we know how we will know when it's fixed? Will the TV turn on itself?

Iv got the exact same problem.
Followed the sky help page to reset the sky glass. Once completed turns it's self off and won't turn back on. Red light just slowly flashing.

Re: Sky glass has now. Outage but cannot connect to terestoral tv as WiFi working fine
@PT10000 wrote:My sky glass will not turn on, nothing wrong with broadband as all other devices working fine, there a message on SKY saying there is an outage in my area, why can't I access terrestrial tv, I don't want to turn off WiFi as I said working fine, it's just the Sky glass that not working, you would think there would be an option when this type of issue happens
Because the Ariel socket is designed for use when you have a broadband outage but still want to be able to watch the DTT channels, hence the reason it works when the broadband is disabled.
It's not a function that would likely work in this scenario where you can't even power the Glass TV on to disable the WiFi in the first place.

Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24
Even understanding that sky glass is a streaming service its alarming that we can reach a stage where thousands of tvs cant even turn on. At the very least use of hdmis and access to sources should be available.
